Samantha "Sam" Adams is a trial attorney whose practice focuses on litigation and legal counsel for businesses, government entities, and nonprofit organizations. She represents clients in matters involving insurance disputes, employment issues, education law, business conflicts, and complex civil litigation.

She represents clients in matters involving insurance disputes, employment issues, education law, business conflicts, and complex civil litigation.
Sam’s experience spans both the courtroom and the boardroom. While she is an accomplished trial lawyer, she also works closely with executives, management teams, and boards of directors to help them navigate issues involving insurance coverage, employer-employee disputes, contract negotiations, non-compete agreements, and business practices. Her goal is to help clients resolve legal challenges efficiently while minimizing the risk of litigation whenever possible.
Sam is widely recognized for her work in litigation. She has been named a Benchmark Litigation Star and a Southwest Super Lawyers® honoree, including recognition as one of the Top 25 Southwest Super Lawyers® in New Mexico. Benchmark Litigation has also recognized her as one of the Top 250 Women in Litigation in the United States. She holds an AV® Preeminent rating, the highest rating awarded by Martindale-Hubbell for professional ethics and legal ability.
Before entering private practice, Sam worked as a Senior Claims Representative for Farmers Insurance, where she handled insurance litigation and arbitration matters. This experience provides valuable insight into how claims are evaluated and defended.
In addition to her legal practice, Sam serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of New Mexico School of Law, where she teaches courses in employment and education law. She is actively involved in the legal and local community, serving on several boards and professional organizations.
