Winchell Gallardo
Winchell Gallardo is a litigation attorney whose practice focuses on achieving positive outcomes for clients in civil disputes. With experience spanning private practice, municipal law, in-house counsel, and public defense, Winchell brings strong advocacy skills and a well-rounded legal perspective to Adams+Crow.
Winchell is originally from Oklahoma, where he graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. During law school, he twice competed in the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Uvaldo Herrera National Moot Court competition, placing third and fourth, earning second best oral advocate, and winning best written argument both years he competed. He was also inducted into two legal honor societies for his legal and oral advocacy, and served as a law review editor. Winchell brings a diverse background of legal experience to the team, having interned at a full-service private law firm, a city attorney’s office, and with in-house counsel at a global manufacturing company, and having served as a licensed legal intern with the Oklahoma state public defender.
Winchell is developing a broad, defense-focused practice resolving cases in both litigation and arbitration, and when necessary, on appeal. He has experience on matters in the areas of general negligence, premises liability, real property, employer liability, products liability, contracts, landlord-tenant relations, trusts and estates, insurance and indemnification, and other business disputes. He has also defended cases arising under the Federal Employer Liability Act, the New Mexico Right to Repair Act, and the New Mexico Wrongful Death Act.
Winchell moved to New Mexico in 2025 and is committed to building a practice that serves clients across the state with diligence and care. He joined Adams+Crow in May 2026. Outside of work, Winchell enjoys exploring New Mexico, spending time with friends, playing grand strategy video games, pampering his pet cat, learning about legal technology, and collecting neckties.
